Out and About!

Yesterday I was met with an unexpected day off! What a treat!
I didn't have to be or go anywhere!
So Jackie and I decided to discover new territory.
We hopped in the truck and headed to Frelighsburg. The town hosts a lovely nature path that you can use with cross country skis, snow shoes or just walking.

With any new region we go to explore, Jackie is on high alert!

With my schedule being wide open, we decided to travel to St. Jean sur Richeleau and take advantage of my 50% off coupon at Michael's.
I purchased a small Koi pocket watercolour field kit.

I have been rather busy with my current supplies and needed to replenish my colours.

I also tried out my new pencil set:

I used UNI Mistubishi Pencils, which I found on Amazon.
The drawing is simply titled, Raccoon.

After all that walking and exploring, Jackie and I settled in to binge watch Once Upon a Time and complete a pair of socks.

My next project involves this very colourful string!

It is by Deranged Dyeworks located in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The colour is Radioactive and it is single ply 100% merino wool.
So far it is knitting up beautifully!

Today will be a "take it easy" sort of day.
Too much socializing yesterday.
I hope you are all well.
Talk with you later.
